This tracker more active and actually has more users than well-known  Passtheheadphones.me, but fewer torrents, at least when we last saw the stats. However, the amount of torrents grows really daily and people are sure the Apollo.rip there will be a future, the largest music tracker on the net. Now Apollo tracker has recently moved to the new URL.

Status: dead since October 2018 — succeeded by Orpheus

Apollo.rip rose from What.CD’s ashes in 2017 and died in October 2018 — not from a raid, but from an internal conflict between the staff and the site’s original operator. The staff had prepared the move: Orpheus.network is the same team, restored from a database backup, and old Apollo members could log in with their existing accounts.

How to join Orpheus in 2026 — official interview

Orpheus runs an official interview system: IRC irc.orpheus.network (port 7000 SSL), channel #recruitment; interviews run “when interviewers are available” (check the channel topic). Expect ~50–80 minutes on audio formats, transcoding, spectral analysis and site rules. Official prep: interview.orpheus.network. Speedtest from a home direct connection is required.

A rare case of a tracker dying and resurrecting with its database and userbase intact — Orpheus opened its new IRC three weeks before Apollo’s servers went dark. The move was planned.
