The legendary Russian series-streaming service is gone. Its main domain turbik.tv (where it moved back in December 2013) expired in May 2026 and no longer resolves. The old turbofilm.tv returns an empty page. There is no way in — not with an invite, not through connections.

What Turbofilm was

Turbofilm was a cult invite-only streaming service of the late 2000s: a custom player, dual audio tracks (Russian/English), its own fast servers. In 2013 it was hit by one of the first court-ordered anti-piracy blocks in Russia and went underground on turbik.tv, closing registration forever — only old accounts could log in. For years its invite remained one of the most sought-after in the Russian internet, essentially as a collector’s artifact.

What replaced it
