Heads up: Invites Shop no longer sells invites to this resource. Below is verified information (updated July 2026) on how things actually stand.

Status: closed February 28, 2026 — by choice

UHDBits, the 4K/UHD tracker that ran for about 13 years, closed on February 28, 2026. Not a raid, not money trouble — the team simply said it: “we no longer have the time to maintain the site and the community at a decent level.”

A rare “dignified death”

The closure was announced in advance; a global freeleech ran until the end; donations were closed early (costs were covered); and instead of selling or transferring the site, the team deleted all data to protect user privacy. Members were asked to spread UHDBits internal releases across other trackers “to preserve the legacy”. No successor inherited the base.

Where 4K collectors go in 2026

The top tier remains HDBits and PassThePopcorn (invite-only); the reachable tier is the UNIT3D generation — Blutopia and Aither — which periodically accept applications.
