Description

Heads up: Invites Shop no longer sells invites to this resource. Below is verified information (updated July 2026) on how to get access through official channels.

Status: open to everyone — invites abolished

Good news: you no longer need a Dribbble invite. For almost a decade (2009–2021) Dribbble was the benchmark of the invite-only model in design — “player” invitations were gifted, raffled and sold. In 2021 the company officially scrapped the system, saying it “no longer served the design community”.

How to join in 2026

  • Regular account: just sign up at dribbble.com — free, no restrictions.
  • Designer account (posting work): apply through the site — upload a few shots, fill in your bio and hiring availability. Dribbble reviews applications in about a day.
  • Invitations from existing members still exist, but as an accelerator, not a barrier.

Fact

Dribbble’s invite abolition is a rare case of a closed club voluntarily “de-elitizing” itself: the platform chose hiring-marketplace growth over status exclusivity.
