BlackCats-Games (BCG), the legendarily closed games tracker where users joked about “waiting two years for an invite”, was shut down for good in October 2016: London’s anti-piracy police (PIPCU) seized the domain and arrested two operators for copyright infringement and money laundering. An insider put it simply: “it all came down to a PayPal account” — the payment trail led straight to the owners. The domain today is an ad-parking page.
How to get in (2026)
No way — BCG never returned (despite having survived an earlier “death” in 2014).
Where the games niche lives
GazelleGames (GGn) is the recognized successor among game trackers — also closed, joinable via its interview/recruitment system.
Fact
Unusually, police seized the domain but not the servers — it was the payments, not the tech, that undid BCG. A lesson every private community learned from.
